Language analysis and depression

I found this article fascinating because I had never heard about the link between language and depression. The studies they did focused on depression but after reading this, I believe that this applies to all mood disorders and possibly other illnesses too.

      1. Good question! I don’t think you can beat it. But when you use kinder language towards yourself, it will influence your thoughts about yourself. It is intertwined. When you feel panicked, you can also try to sooth yourself with kind language. I think it can help.

        1. It really helped me w my anxiety when I learned that your brain is like a muscle. You can exercise it and train it ……you can change it! I guess I had just felt like a victim before that. Helpless.
